A chance of rain this weekend has me freaking out. No more lazy days languishing by the pool Right....This piece is from an Xtremes Art Quilt group color challenge. Of course I drew purple. The "Prince of Purple Rain" came into my mind. Detail of the top of the piece in the post below. Detail of the bottom of the piece on the right. Hand-dyed and beaded velvet base anchors the piece. Hand made beads "rain" down onto the base and splash into the velvet. It is one of my "Rock Stars" series.
